These include his work in private practice in the Herzliya Medical Center Experts clinic (link) where he mainly treats patients with neck & back pain, headaches and temporomandibular disorders; academic teaching in both undergraduate (2011) and post-graduate (2018) physiotherapy programs; and other continuing education courses (internationally) for physiotherapists, dentists and other health professionals, specifically in the topic of rehabilitation of people with neck pain, headache, and temporomandibular disorders. In addition, Tzvika is a certified dry needling instructor of the international David G Simons Academy (DGSA) (2014) and has been teaching dry needling worldwide, and has recently developed a unique dry needling Master Class (one day) for Orofacial pain and headaches, based on his clinical experience, research and clinical guidelines.
Tzvika’s completed his PhD studies from Tel Aviv University, at the Faculty of Medicine. Specifically, his research project was done in collaboration between the physiotherapy department (School of Health Sciences) and the School of Dental Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University in Israel. In his prospective longitudinal study, Tzvika studied the relationship between specific temporomandibular disorders and impaired upper neck performance as well as the prevalence and incidence of cervicogenic headache among patients with temporomandibular disorders. This work was published in leading journals in the physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal Science and Practice)and dentistry (European Journal of Oral Science) professions, and Tzvika has presented his work in various conferences worldwide (2019 World Conference of Physical Therapy and 2017 Annual meeting of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain). Nowadays Tzvika is involved in an international research project that is assessing the muscular performance of the mouth openers and closers as part of his post-doctoral studies.

Maya Abady, BPT, MaPT, PhD candidate:
Maya graduated ‘cum laude’ from Tel Aviv University (Israel) in 2004, after which she completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapy at the University of South Australia (Adelaide, Australia) in 2005. After tutoring in an Evidence Based and Biostatistics course, she moved to Sydney and for over 4 years worked in one of the leading physiotherapy practices in Sydney. Since her return to Israel in 2011, Maya has been working in private practice, been teaching at various academic institutes, including the physiotherapy school at Tel Aviv University, as well as been teaching private postgraduate courses. Maya has special interest and experience in working with Spine dysfunction (lumbar, thoracic, cervical) and related conditions as well as Myofascial pain syndromes and dry needling. She has recently commenced her PhD studies at the University of Newcastle (Australia) looking at the relationship of the hip joint and low back pain. Maya ensures evidence-based practice, and she has further interests in movement dysfunction and rehabilitation, neuromuscular retraining, and acute and chronic sport injuries, pre-post-operative rehabilitation and other musculoskeletal disorders. Following the eastern medicine approach, Maya believes the body has an innate ability to heal itself where possible, supporting a holistic approach to patient management looking at the bio-psycho-social model. Maya is an official dry needling instructor of the international David G Simons Academy since 2013.
Andreas Prezas, BA, BSC:
Andreas has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire and a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from California State University Dominguez Hills. He has been certified as Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from NSCA, Sports Nutritionist (CISSN) from ISSN, Youth Fitness Specialist (YF1) from IYCA, FRC Mobility Specialist (FRCms) and Kinstretch Instructor from Functional Anatomy Seminars. His physiotherapy expertise focuses on diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. In addition, he offers private & semi-private personal training, loves coaching youth, promotes healthy nutritional habits, and customizes program design based on strength/ conditioning mainly for fat loss and athletic performance. He completed the DGSA Dry Needling curriculum (Dry Needling Therapist DGSA®) in 2016.
