I am a Physiotherapist since 2004, with combined clinical Master degree in Musculoskeletal & Sports fields from the University of South Australia (2006). During and following my studies in Adelaide (Australia) I have specialized in Manual Therapy for patients with neck pain and headache. I studied from leading clinicians such as Dr. Dean Watson, a well-known headache clinician and researcher.
Today I am a private clinician in the Herzlia Medical Center Experts clinic where I mainly treat patients with neck & back pain, Headaches and Temporomandibular disorders. I also treat people with Headaches and Temporomandibular disorders. One of my main practice fields is treating patients with long lasting pain. I believe that living and coping with long lasting pain is a tough challenge. At the same time I believe that each one of us has the ability to overcome it, and grow through this challenge. This can be accomplished by adapting oneself with the right therapeutic approach.
Clinical teaching is one of my loves. I have been teaching since 2011 Physiotherapists and other health professionals at the post-graduate level about rehabilitation of people with neck pain, Headache and Temporomandibular Disorders. I am also a certified Dry Needling instructor of the international David G Simons Academy since 2014.
I am in an advanced stage of my PhD project that is being done in cooperation between the Physiotherapy department and the Dental School of Tel Aviv University. In our study we assess the involvement of the upper neck in patients with different temporomandibular disorders.
